To honor one parents is quite high on the list of the Ten Commandments.

Each year, Hadar Hatorah hosts Parents Weekend , an opportunity for the parents of our students to join their sons and the rest of the yeshiva and the staff for a weekend of exploration , education and, ultimately, an enhanced understanding of their sons' new direction in life.

Nearly all our parents are not familiar with a very traditional, Chasidic Jewish lifestyle. Often there is lack of understanding between parents and sons. We organize lectures, workshops and offer lots opportunities to ask questions. Over the last seven years, since its inception, our parents have unamiously appreciated Parents Weekend. Our parents are our friends!
